Everything is energy.
If it sounds too simple, congratulations, you just passed level one.
Energy is not so much spent as it is directed. When we look at energy as a perpetual flow we see that it is always there, moving in all directions. Most of the time it moves according to its own polarities and the polarities in its environment, however it can be intentionally directed.
The common energies most people are familiar with are fuel, lightning, wind, solar and so on. Emotions are energies as well. They have energy “signatures”. A good example of this is the feeling you get when you visit the home of someone who is a warm and loving person at peace with themselves. You can feel the same way by being there. The same process can happen when you go to a place where atrocities have occurred. You can sense some thing is wrong at that place.
An instinctive feeling about a person you just met. You instinctively read that person’s energetic signature and it’s compatibility with yours and make an assessment of whether or not you want to be around them. It’s that little voice.
It’s important to be clear who you are in life and be very honest with yourself. I find it interesting that of all the stimuli to choose from, we choose fear the most. Most of our self deceit comes from the fear of being rejected or not being accepted for who we really are. This is such a sad thing to see. I can honestly say that most of my Shamanic work has been getting people back to their true center. Once that happens the rest of spiritual development is easy. Once a person has peace with themselves in an environment that is conducive to their true spiritual identity they are a living example of balance.
A large part of the process of returning to one’s center is the struggle with sexuality. This is a common ailment that has been perpetuated by centuries of a fear based religion that basically says that what ever feels good, is bad. The fear of rejection then leads to lies. This, in turn, leads to the blockages that disturb the other energy flows which could be beneficial. Finally you have a society that is filled with fearful people ashamed of their natural sexual nature that are living falsehoods in hope of being accepted by people who are doing the same thing.
Back in the days when religions were nature based and people were more realistic about humanity, many cultures had women in the social position where their sexual prowess was an asset to the community. They understood energy enough that they knew people would be in better physical and mental health if they had a good sexual health. These women understood that one of the basic needs of every person was to be accepted and understood for who they truly were.
Let’s go back to the very basics. We know that everything is energy. We know that we can sense energy signatures and tell which ones we want to be a part of our lives. It’s logical that these energy signatures can resonate like magnetism does. In other words, an inanimate object can be programmed with an energetic signature, accidentally or intentionally. Back when ancient cultures had Sacred Lovers, the Temples of these women were charged with the energetic signatures of a free, loving and accepting energy that promoted self acceptance and encouraged self confidence. Well that would be bad news for people with a mindset that wants to control people. This is where we have the age old struggle of good and bad between the controlling forces and the liberating forces.
In my 40 years of Shamanism I have been graced with the occasional encounter of women who fit the description of the Sacred Lovers but none so much as the young lady Sequoia Redd. In the five years I have known her I have witnessed the most encouraging example of sexual awareness and centering. After going through a childhood that many women like her experience Sequoia has become a model of self confidence and sexual balance. I’ve watched her direct her sexual energy to manifest the things in her life that were conducive to her true self. She knows that energy is moving in all directions and chose to direct some of it in a way that worked for her. She can do this because she understands the principles of sex magik.
From ancient days, the geomancers and High Priests and Priestesses of great civilizations knew how powerful the combination of directed sexual energies and basic energetic principles were so they kept them a secret study only to be seen by those who were at peace and centered within themselves. This is why it seems to be a new study in metaphysics today.
Sequoia Redd has worked daily over the last five years in honing her abilities in this area. She has used these skills in art, healing, growing plants and sympathetic magik in manifestations. Part of her exercises now is in the programming of public areas with the thoughts and energetic intent of self acceptance and a true sexual confidence and good physical and mental health. What may seem as solely the intent of public porn has a second agenda of liberating the everyday person from the dogmatic suppression of sexual freedom by leaving that energetic signature throughout the public. I call this a public service. In a society so preoccupied with sex, yet so sexually frustrated, I think the intent of this exercise is a great idea. The places where she does these public shoots are charged with the same sensual magnetism she yields in her profession.
There is an unwritten rule in Shamanism that if you are on the right path all things will flow in that direction. I have to say I have seen that in the process of Sequoia making these videos. The gifts of cameras and technology that have come her way have been incredibly valuable in the creation of her work. When we have done the shoots we saw they were in perfect astrological timing, a fine example of women’s intuition. I have come to know Sequoia as the rare type of woman who’s as intelligent as she is sexy.
So here she is, breaking through the dogma and spreading the love, one splash at a time, reviving old traditions of an understanding compassion and Sacred Sexuality.
