Here I go again, getting ready to sound like one of those old guys ranting “back when I was a kid…” on something that no one seems to care about, but, like one of those old guys I’ll tell you anyways.
First I’ll give you something to look up. Do a search for “bush repealed posee comatatus” and you’ll come to an article Toward Freedom that will give you a little look at your future. Not too long ago, we the people would go off about something like this. Then again, we studied the constitution in school and were taught to question authority.
It means that the federal government now has the power to delare martial law anytime it sees fit. For instance, if you want to protest, (which you have the right to do) the military can come in and squash your movement, their way. (See Kent State killings) Billions of dollars have been set aside to build massive prisons to house people that get unruly.
They are trying to get the FDA to have more power to tell you you can’t grow your own food, for safety reasons, You need to buy it from big corporations who know what they are doing. Funny, the only time I’ve ever heard of anyone getting poisoned from food was by big company screw ups. Those same big companies want to force you to eat their genetically engineered food that uses the eboli virus in their engineering process. One of the stupidest things I’ve heard in a while was that the current economic status will cause a food shortage. I’ve been eating out of my garden for a few months. Pretty soon the FDA will have the power to come and rip it up and fine me for having it. That is a very sick mentality. These are the same people who approve of genetically engineering plants whose seeds will not reproduce another plant. By the way, this “technology” is spread by the wind. Farmers have been charged with illegaly having this technology in their farms that the same wind blows through. This same technology is an equal opportunity destroyer. It will modify EVERY plant it come in contact with. They also know that the process is mutating on its own and they don’t know where its going.
Those founding fathers wrote all kinds of laws to prevent government from getting too big and powerful. After all, that was the reason to declare independence from England. They knew that an educated and armed people could control their future. My generation was taught to remember and pass these things on. Unfortunately it is also people in my generation that don’t want succeeding generations to know these things and set into motion a mechanism to label some of your rights as domestic terrorism. They can lock you up, indefinately, for protesting an idea that they claim will feed millions (see above).
They want to control your food, medicine, information, the internet and other forms of communication so you won’t be able to get the word out if you and your friends are using your right to assembly to keep your freedoms. Its easy. Dont let people know that they have rights, keep them from communicating it. Lock them up if they do get upity.
Its said that 25,000 people a month get on the “no fly list”. A list of potential terrorist. I saw an interview where a five year old boy was on it somehow and they searched him and his mother and detained them for a while. I’ve heard similar stories from old Germans. (They had a very bad man running their country about 70 years ago)
What’s the point, right? I guess you won’t miss something you never had so why should it bother you. If this gets depressing, they have a pill for that. They have pills for everything. They have to. Their pills cause problems that they need more pills for.
This really is simple. If you find out something that’s all messed up, tell other people. The ones that agree with you can help you do something about it. We are in the situation we see today because we, as a mass, have done nothing for too long.
Revolting to protect your rights is not terrorism, its patriotism.
Protecting yourself is an act of sanity.
