Immigration office shooting

   Its always a disaster when someone goes on a killing spree for seemingly personal reasons. I can understand the frustration at the rudeness you get from offices like that but not enough to kill everybody.

   What bothered me most is the police response. The first part of their response was that they were on the scene a few minutes after the call. Good work guys.

   The second part voided the first. They waited 90 minutes to go in because they were worried about the safety of the officers. Safety of the officers? Did you guys just get a call that someone was killing people in a public office? What the hell are your guns and body armor for? Chic magnets?

   They said they were talking on the phone with a woman, who was shot in the abdomen, for those 90 minutes while they waiting for it to be safe. They called her a hero. Somebody needed to be since the cops weren’t up for it. Then there are the people in the basement that were hoping they might be saved by somebody, say, with guns and body armor? People trained for such situations?

   Of course these are the same people that don’t want you to take the law into your own hands. I can only imagine what would have happened to a private citizen that somehow conquered a situation like that by killing the gunman. Charge him with interfering in police business? Go ahead, kill him for making you look like a punk.

   I’ve always thought that cops didn’t make enough money to deal with the craziness they get during their shift but at the same time I think if you want the job, act like it. It seems like if there is an instance like this the everyday person is on their own. Especially after its over you could get detained and handcuffed to see if you were a gunman.

  What if that woman died while she was talking to those bitches on the phone. “Sorry ma’am, we need you keep giving us briefings as you bleed to death”. Imagine being the one trying to explain to someone’s children that all those guys with guns and body armor let mommy die because they were scared they might get hurt.

   You guys get paid more than you’re worth.
