Books I Recommend:

A Brief History of Time is a book that shows the modern path of Shamanism in that it encompasses all aspects of universe and perception.

The Orgon Accumulator Handbook is an example of how the body can use its lifeforce energy to heal itself as well as showing how the energy fields of modern technology can be destructive to the human body.

The Holistic Herbal is great for the beginner of herbology. This book has simple diagrams of the internal human body and brief descriptions of the herbs and their functions.

Empath

An Empath is someone who can feel what is happening to other people and animals. The skill can also be developed to feel and experience what is happening to inanimate objects. Being empathic is part of Shamanism.

A friend’s secretary asked me to look and see if her son was ok. He had gone hiking in Colorado and she hadn’t heard from him in a while. He was usually very good at scheduled calls to her. She offered to show me a picture of him but I passed since I want to be able to get it without an influence. I didn’t want to know anything about what he looked like. I’ll either get it or not.

I don’t sit and meditate on things. My best pictures and information comes to me when I am working with the Earth. I am always making gardens and doing things outside. We are all on the same planet. To me, working with the Earth is like putting your ear to the wall.

I had thought about her son all day without results. The next day was the same.

The third night I was having one of those things that are in the middle of a daydream and a sleeping dream. I was a little over six foot and had a thin, lanky body and bushy reddish hair. I was hiking with a light pack in an area with a kind of red sandstone cliffs and landscape. I liked the view as I walked and looked around.

Then all of a sudden I was totally disoriented and felt a sharp pain on my side which was immediately followed by a harder pain on my back but it was whatever happened to my head made me not feel the pain as pain but just as an acknowledgement of it. Then I knew I was cold and I was having trouble breathing.

I woke up coughing so hard I couldn’t breathe at all. I was losing consciousness as I tried to sit up in bed. I was going out. I was doing anything I could to get some sensation to stay with it. I grabbed the sheets, I strained to see, I tried to slowly breath thinking it would help something. It was getting hard to think and finally it felt like my lungs were getting too heavy for my chest and I blacked out.

I was nowhere, and it was ok. I was in a timelessness that was stable and secure. Everything was fine.

I started to hear a faint hum that went along with a buzz that started to mix with other sound that got louder until I found the sound very uncomfortable. It was loud and getting louder. The next sound I heard was me taking a long breath into lungs that were sore from whatever just happened.

I went over to my friend’s office and I was met by her secretary who immediately asked if I had seen anything. About the same time I realized I forgot about her son the events of the night came flooding back. I found myself standing there feeling myself go through it again as she gave me a strange look.

Then I got a very clear picture of this tall, lanky young man in a muddy river. His waist was under the water and mud. His upper body was above the water and there were signs of severe impacts all over him. His lungs were filled with water and silt from the river. He was dead.

The woman before me started to shed tears as I asked her if her son fit the description I was seeing of this man. She said yes and I waited a moment to tell her I thought she should tell the park rangers to look in the area I described and focus on the shallow part of the river.

I told her it happened pretty quick and I think he fell while hiking. There wasn’t any need to go into details. What would that serve?

A few days later she got confirmation from the park rangers (who were very curious how she knew where to look since she was in Florida and never been to Colorado) that they found the body of her son.

I have theories how these things happen. The intelligent mind can always pick some parallel to use an explanation, but where’s the proof? I’m not going to say it was some spirit guide or Angel told me. Maybe he knew his mother asked me and he remembered what happened and I empathically witnessed it. Did I channel it or share it? I’m too analytical. I empathed it.

I endlessly stress to the people I teach that it is very important that they keep in good shape and take care of themselves. Everything eventually resonates on the physical body. You need to be strong and clear enough to not just ward off ill effects but preserve your personal bearing.

An Empath can get things they don’t want. Just like moving into a new neighborhood. One day you can find money on the ground, the next day you can get hit by a bus.

An Empath is like the Remote Viewer with 3D vision. The third dimension is the collective sensations of the vision resonating on your body and their effects on you.

When my daughters were small I would do a healing process where I would lay beside them and start to get the symptoms they had. I would go into a fever and start to sweat, get a headache and go through all that fun stuff. After a while it would begin to pass and they and I would feel better. Needless to say this isn’t something you want to make a regular practice.

This wasn’t something I was taught. I would feel bad that I couldn’t do anything for them and wished I could pull out their discomfort. Using empathic skills can help locate ailments in people or animals since they can’t just tell you what’s wrong.

Empathic abilities can integrate themselves into other skills. This can help with giving readings, healings, locating people and animal or feel what someone is doing or happening to them.

Of course there is the element of them not wanting to be seen and they tell what you saw and felt was wrong. While you are getting to know and develop your skills this might be frustrating since you think you might be off track. With practice and time you will know you are on your game and they are playing theirs.

I’ve had several debates whether or not an event is an animate or inanimate object. I tend to think they are animate and that’s why you can feel them coming.  I think the same about hurricanes and tornados. I have much more experience with hurricanes and I can get a look at their personality from how they travel across the Atlantic.

An inanimate object like a ring or watch can become programmed with the energy signature of its owner. An Empath can tell about the owner of those articles from that energy signature.

The real fun begins when you can change the polarity of your energy signature by empathing the energy signature of an inanimate signature. Combat veterans, police officer and other people whose job puts then in situations of heightened senses start to develop their own empathic skills to find people. They are in a search mode to pick up animate energy signatures. Remember that empathy is a receiving process. Receive the energy signature of the wall, the road, a dumpster or anything else around you and be that signature. You know you got it right when search dogs sniff inches away from where you are hiding and keep on walking.

A person with empathic skill that doesn’t have supportive training or in an environment that doesn’t believe in their abilities or has people around that think their skills are evil can slip into what would look like a classic case of multiple personalities and schizophrenia.

The only real grounding in this work is being clear and honest about who you are.
