Yes, when it rains here, it pours. I came back for a few reasons intentionally and of course the unintended Shamanic reasons that always pop up in those synchronous events that fit together all too well. It looks like South Florida is opening up and Boca Raton has shown some Shamanic surprises.
In most of my Shamanic travels I have been very close to the Earth and the people who work it. I’ve been on many farming and community garden projects and all of my geomantic structures have been in the country side and in the mountains. I worked side by side with people who were no strangers to sweat and dirt and who fell quickly into a deep sleep after an exhausting day. I’ve heard interesting revelations from children in the gardens and stumbled upon Spring lovers in the forests where I gathered food. So in over 40 years of Shamanism I have always known Shamanism in nature. I’ve always seen nature as the connections between the source of higher knowledge and the masses yet in the last couple weeks I’ve been surprised ( and that’s rare) at what I’ve seen and particularly the location.
No offense to the people or city itself but Boca Raton is not what most Shaman would call a spiritual mecca. However if you want to see nice cars, pretty houses and fine art, Boca is a great place to visit. I’m a jeans tucked into boots and T shirt, long hair kind of guy. I don’t wear cologne and I sweat so I stand out in Boca and for the most part the people are not shy about giving a look that lets you know you don’t fit in. Which is fine if that serves them but it still had me wondering why I was drawn there and what was coming through that particular area. I started to get the picture when a long time friend Halley Elise took me to a gallery in Boca where I met Tia, a artist with a very interesting style.
I’m far from being an expert on art but I have seen some art that really had a life force about it. I’ve seen portraits that were so life like that I was waiting for them to move and that skill level has always had my deepest admiration. I’ve known wood carvers that would let you touch their birds to make sure it wasn’t covered with real feathers. I thought I had seen the most spiritual art to be found until I was surprised at Tia’s gallery. Her pieces had an energy that I had only experienced at geomantic structures or sites where Sacred Geometry was used in their creation. I walked around her gallery and took my time in looking at every piece. The new information was coming through Tia’s art in a similar process that I used in programming Sacred Sites with curriculum. Her pieces were charged with the information she received during their creation. This isn’t just a good feeling you get when I looked at them but images, equations, pictures and tones. Each piece was like it’s own library with a frequency that would match it’s new owner in a way that they too could share in the knowledge Tia received in her process. I met Tia and had a chance for a light conversation about her work. I found her to be a woman with warm eyes and genuine smile and I understood why she would be getting the energy signatures that comes through her work. She is a beautiful blend of class and poise known for Boca Raton and the natural, sincere connection of the Earthy Goddess. To see her work you can go to http://www.tiacrystal.com/ or better yet, stop into her gallery and feel what I’m telling you for yourself.
A couple weeks later Halley, in her usual style for finding unique situations, took me to another art showing, in a funeral home. Ok, why not? I’ve never been to a Funeral home for an art show so this could be interesting. As soon as I saw the first painting I understood why the Kraeer funeral home was a good place. The artist, Jacqueline has a very unique style of painting the relationship between the life and after life dimension relationship. Under normal daylight or artificial light her paintings are beautiful works. However, with a touch of black light you see the “ghost painting” (in my words) of the angels and spirit guides who are part of the subject. Turn off the black light and they disappear. I’ll stop there because I won’t do her justice with my verbal descriptions and I feel bad I can’t find the words that accurately describe the appreciation I have for her insight and the internal process that led to her gifted style.
I can say that Jacqueline is a beautifully warm woman who patiently answered my questions about her personal changes as she was exploring her new style. I’ve been to many showings where the artist was selective with whom they spoke. Jacqueline spoke to everyone who approached her with equal and undivided attention and that led me to believe she is a person who genuinely cares about people for who they as a person and not as a contact. I look forward to reading her book. Jacqueline’s work can bee seen online at http://jacquelineripstein.com/ but I have to say that while viewing her work online still shows the beauty it is impossible to experience the feeling of these creations. So you really should see them “in person”.
I was thinking about the art I had seen at the two showing and the women I met as the artists as we left the funeral home. Very spiritual and successful business women who had special gifts to share through a channel of creativity and artistic passion. Their creations were obviously manifestations of a higher calling and they were bold enough to come forward to share their stories along with their art, for which I am thankful. Just from these two women alone, Boca Raton has a lot to offer those on their journey of spiritual growth but for an area to be a “hot spot” that will stay activated for a long time there needs to be a complete picture. The important piece missing so far was the deep Earth connection I am so accustom to seeing in Shamanic areas. Halley and I drove over to Christopher Barrett’s house where I found the missing piece. Oh, by the way, Christopher can be a woman’s name too.
Christopher’s house is what I call “old Florida”. No lawn, very lush growth throughout the property with pathways, ponds with small fountains and assorted outside art of all kinds. I was greeted inside by a white wolf named Taj who instantly wanted to use my arm as a chew toy. Christopher told me that was a good sign. Ok. The other two wolves weren’t too interested in me. Christopher gave me a tour of her place and we talked for a while before she asked if I would speak with her group. A general talk of metaphysics and Shamanism or whatever comes up. I agreed and we set it for the following Thursday. I have to say I was surprised at how many of this group had experienced dreams and waking visions that came true and how close to the Earth their energy was. I talked with the a few hours and felt I could have gone into much deeper details on things like geomantic programming, alchemical manifestation inter dimensional relay but it was getting late and they had things like work and college the next day.
I slept there that night in one of the “rooms” outside. Christopher has several outside sleeping areas that are like beds with walls and a roof. Very cool. My room had the glow of two citronella candles and the hum of a fan to put me to sleep. It probably would have worked well but the problem with sleeping at a place like Christopher’s, where the spirits know they have friends, a place to chill and participate in ceremony and an audience is they forget that those of that still have a pulse need to sleep now and then. So all through the night I woke up to voices, feeling people around me and in my bed space and even waking up in what I call someone else’s memory or story. Finally I had to ask everyone to leave me to sleep because I had a long day in store for me come sunrise.
Now I can say the Boca Raton area has that complete picture within the levels of society required for a place to open up in balance. This is very important because without that balance the new knowledge and power that comes in can get twisted and the area gets filled with the “shingle hangers” that give the lame stream media something to feed on. I can tell Boca is becoming a hot spot from the amount of these shingle hangers already out and teaching when they themselves were just students a little while ago. (I should explain that what I mean by shingle hanger is a person who is out being a spiritual leader/teacher with very little experience and even less credibility. They are posers who are out for the cash and notoriety like the guy that killed those people in the Sweat Lodge in Arizona. Fortunately Boca Raton has two women, Halley Elise of halleyelise.com and Christopher Barrett of natures interpreter.com who I know for a fact have been teaching in the South Florida area over 20 years. I know them as teachers of high integrity. They have my fullest confidence and trust. However, they have very, very different styles about them so I suggest you meet them both to see which is the person right for you. Both of them you will give you full attention and sincere input towards the spiritual direction of your choice. They are also easy to find on Facebook.
Yes, another set of metaphysical waves in South Florida. Waves of new energies and the knowledge and skills that come with them. Waves of new people coming into their power that could go out and initiate positive change in the world and eventually become teachers to take other people through the same process. Maybe, just maybe, one will become a Shaman and Boca Raton will be their post. Till then we wait to see what rides these waves.

This is great. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Love the photos also.
Welcome back to South Florida Hawk!
Many, many thanks and much love to you and Christopher for your guidance and love!
Can someone tell me if there are any shamanic drum circles in the Boca Delray area?
