Books I Recommend:

A Brief History of Time is a book that shows the modern path of Shamanism in that it encompasses all aspects of universe and perception.

The Orgon Accumulator Handbook is an example of how the body can use its lifeforce energy to heal itself as well as showing how the energy fields of modern technology can be destructive to the human body.

The Holistic Herbal is great for the beginner of herbology. This book has simple diagrams of the internal human body and brief descriptions of the herbs and their functions.

Why Shamans retire and "go corporate."

It’s something that probably makes sense to only Shamans but in E mails and past conversations about our efforts out and the lack of perpetual motion in projects or towards Shamanism in general we have to ask ourselves “what’s the point?”.

Native American-Calico

I am frequently asked if I am a Native American Shaman or do I teach Native American teachings. The answer is no, for a few reasons. The first one being that there is no general consensus of what “Native American” really is.

We are on a continent which had about fifty different languages and [...]

Psychic parlor tricks

One Winter back in the mid ‘90s I was offered a spot in Lansing Michigan at the Festival of the Spirit by the owners of The Triple Goddess Book Store located in Okemos Michigan. The festival was held at the Civic Center in Lansing which is a large facility downtown and set up well for [...]

Remote Viewing - a simple how to

This will be one of things I throw out for free that becomes something that someone says they channeled and charges big money for their course. (Like that’s never happened before.)

Looks like the remote viewing craze is back. When I was a kid in training we called it LDR. Long distance recon. When we [...]

Empath

An Empath is someone who can feel what is happening to other people and animals. The skill can also be developed to feel and experience what is happening to inanimate objects. Being empathic is part of Shamanism.

A friend’s secretary asked me to look and see if her son was ok. He had gone hiking [...]

Sweat Lodges and intuition

I want to start off saying that I am in no way making claims in this post about being a great healer or that the type of ceremony that this describes is the sure way to get healed from anything, especially a very serious, life threatening disease.

Sweat Lodges (and how they can go wrong)

A Sweat Lodge isn’t just a ceremonial site; it’s a complex metaphysical tool that requires extensive training to use safely. In a real apprenticeship like I had (minimum of eight years) running a Sweat Lodge was at the end of training because you were studying the different directional and energetic influences that can occur at all types of ceremonial sites for the previous seven [...]

Test the teacher

   It’s ok, you’re supposed to.

The spiritual guide/teacher is an important role and should only be occupied by qualified personnel. Unfortunately, especially these days, it’s not and all too often we hear about it in some sad story on the news.   This post is intended to be some helpful hints so you don’t become [...]

2012. What will we do?!!!!!!

Blessed be the media and Hollywood for quenching our thirst for fear and despair.

This is one of those times when I sit for a while and think of the right way to start a response or article. I think of how I am supposed to weigh the overall input people are getting and [...]

Local Energetics

I’ve always thought it interesting how people would want to know how to play energy in a way that would help them manifest something in their life yet they wouldn’t see how things were flowing (or not) in their immediate space.
